Handcrafted in straw marquetry, the Soleil Coffee Table, c. 1930, illustrates Jean-Michel Frank’s taste for “humble” materials. He was one of the first designers to use straw as a decorative element to dress and furnish his interiors. This piece is also available in solid oak.
